I have a Phat PS3 (CECHA01) unfortunately running on the latest OFW 4.84, can anyone guide me towards a tutorial on how to run it on the latest CFW/Xploit....I have no idea on how to even begin or where to search it....I have experience modifying other consoles so I'm not a total noob.If you want to put the time in you should custom firmware it to control the fan speed, repaste the console and if you can find on change the fan to a 15 blade D14F ( it is the quitest, draws the least power, and outperformce the other fans for the fat ps3 due to having a more optimal fan design and lower noise).The point of a CECHA01 today given its value and rarity is to collect, not to play. There are newer and more reliable models available to do that. Don’t waste money on a BC PS3 if you are only going to play PS2 and PS1 games on it. So the cechh is going to consume more power and make more heat. Everything cechH and after (fat wise) seems to have the same variety of laser parts.
